About Us

​Aimée-Linh was born in Nong Chan refugee camp along the Thai-Cambodian border.

​Aimée-Linh has travelled throughout the globe, and currently residing in Hiroshima, Japan, with her husband, Patrick McCartney.

 

An avid lover of the natural world, Aimée-Linh has developed a passion for photography, hiking, skiing and yoga.  Aimée-Linh enjoys chasing the seasonal scents and floral delights of the dramatic changes throughout the year.

Over the past eight years, Aimée-Linh has taken a keen interest in the "mountain ascetics" known as Yamabushi, who practice a particular form of esoteric Buddhism that's mixed with Shintoism. For approximately the past seven years, Aimée-Linh has been attending the regular rituals and events of the Yamabushi community, capturing the smoky sights and sounds and colours of their religious practice. As well, Aimée-Linh has an interest in capturing as much of the festivals and ceremonies which take place throughout the year in Japan.

​Aimée-Linh has immersed herself in the vibrant world of culture, she has covered fieldwork assignments in South East Asia, North America, Europe and predominantly Japan.  Whether it's chasing mikoshi (portables shrines), alms blessings to photoshoots, Aimée-Linh has covered it.

エイミー・リンは、タイとカンボジアの国境沿いにあるノンチャン難民キャンプで生まれました。

エイミー・リンは世界中を旅し、現在は夫のパトリック・マッカートニーと共に日本の広島に住んでいます。

自然をこよなく愛するエイミー・リンは、写真、ハイキング、スキー、ヨガに情熱を注いでいます。季節ごとに移り変わる自然の香りや花々の美しさを追い求めることを楽しんでいます。

過去8年間、エイミー・リンは山伏と呼ばれる「山の修行者」に強い関心を抱いてきました。山伏は、神道と融合した独特の密教を実践しています。約7年間、エイミー・リンは山伏の儀式や行事に定期的に参加し、彼らの宗教的実践における煙の立ち込める光景、音、そして色彩を写真に収めてきました。エイミー・リンは、日本で一年を通して行われる祭りや儀式をできる限り多く写真に収めることにも情熱を注いでいます。

エイミー・リンは、活気に満ちた日本の文化の世界に深く身を置き、東南アジア、北米、ヨーロッパ、そして主に日本でフィールドワークを行ってきました。神輿巡り、托鉢、写真撮影など、エイミー・リンはあらゆる場面を撮影してきました。

エイミー・リンのポートフォリオは、国内外の出版物に掲載されるなど、多岐にわたり、その実力は目を見張るものがあります。彼女の柔軟性とパーソナルなアプローチにより、お客様一人ひとりのニーズに合わせたツアーを提供し、忘れられない体験をお届けします。
